If you live in the Albany-Corvallis area, and you’re concerned about health in your community, you are invited to a Community Health Priorities-sponsored event hosted by the Health Equity Alliance. At the event you can discuss issues brought up in the Unnatural Causes documentary series, which shows how work, wealth, neighborhood conditions, and lack of access to resources and power can make people just as sick as germs and viruses.
There are two events:
Monday, October 27th, 6:30 – 9:00 PM

Tuesday, October 28th, 6:00 – 8:30 PM
American Legion Hall in Monroe
605 Main St., Monroe, OR
You’ll view the new “Place Matters” episode of the series, discuss important health issues facing your community, participate in a community assessment and help define priorities for next steps
A light dinner will be offered at both events.
