The Northwest Health Foundation has announced its endorsement of the Yes on Measure 26-94 campaign, the Children’s Levy. The Levy
renews the 2002 measure which created the Children’s Investment Fund and invests in proven, cost-effective programs that have made a difference in the lives of more than 16,000 children per year.
The Foundation’s Board of Directors believes that the Children’s Investment Fund is aligned with its guiding principle of prevention, and its strategy in moving upstream to address social determinants of health. Further, the Foundation has consistently promoted public/private partnerships as a model for promoting community health.
